Kevin & Hope Walter started out in Kevin’s family business of manufacturing pianos. Kevin worked at Walter Piano Company in Elkhart, IN for over 35 years. It was there that he learned the piano from start to finish. In 1984, Kevin & Hope started their own trucking company to safely transport the pianos they spent so much time investing in. Over the years they have expanded to hauling any brand of piano, organ or musical instrument. They are continuing to grow their company with new state of the art equipment to better care for the instruments. Because of his experience in the manufacturing, Kevin knows the best ways to care for your piano.

Piano Transport continues to be a family based company. Both Kevin & Hope along with their son Kevin Jr. continue to be involved in all daily activities. Kevin Sr. both manages the warehouse and drives one of the semi tractor trailers on occasion. Kevin Jr. manages the warehouse and works in the office. Both Kevin Sr. and Kevin Jr. are involved in training all drivers and responding to drivers phone calls as needed. Hope continues to run the office and handle customer relations. She is available to care for any customer’s concerns that they may have. The Walter family’s goal is to provide excellent service to each customer.

Walter Piano Transport has the reputation of meeting their customer’s needs and making the transporting of instruments a great experience. One customer wrote- “Your driver just left our business. I have never been around such a nice young man who was willing and able to help me unload a grand piano and then place it where I needed for it to be. I will suggest to my vendors that you be their exclusive carrier. The biggest two words I can use are THANK YOU.”
