Are you curious about what it takes to transport a piano?
Here’s a little taste of the effort we make to get your piano across town or across the country.
Every piano is a different size, shape and has different needs, so we have to be prepared for anything. Here our warehouse is prepping a few trailers with any equipment they may need on the road.
Breaking down and loading up
Once we arrive to pick up a piano, usually it needs to be taken apart and packed up. This takes time, a strong back and much care. Once it's onto the piano board it is craned into the back of our trailer and secured inside.
Storage or reload? Where is each one going?
When our drivers arrive back at our central hub each piano is accounted for and separated for final delivery. Some go back onto trucks, some into storage and others into the repair and cleaning shop. It all depends on what the customer needs.
